Where are sent mails when using IMAP?

Hi,

we are using Zimbra with the Outlook Connector. Every user has access to 2 other mailboxes over IMAP.
When replying to a Mail in one of those IMAP accounts the sent mail can neither be found in the sent mail folder of this account, nor in the personal one.
So where are these messages stored? Or are the just dropped?
