Default Can't delete meeting on shared resource's calendar

A staff manager has shared access to a resources's calendar, with manager rights. She's created several meetings on that calendar, by choosing that resources calendar instead of her own from the calendar drop down menu. Now she needs to edit one of them - but she doesn't have any option to do that when she right clicks on the meeting. She can't delete either. Is there a fix or workaround for this problem (other than having an admin delete through the admin console with "View Mail")?

Thanks

Only the admin of the resource will be able to remove any calendar entrees unless the staff member is given those credentials.

Best Regards,

I also tried making her an admin of the resource, and she still wasn't able to delete it.

Since I'm not permitted to create a resource calendar to help troubleshoot this situation, can you check to see if either the original admin or this user can open the resource directly from the Zimbra Web Console and remove the entree?

My bases for this questions comes from a similar process that is completed on an Exchange service where resource calendar entrees can be removed when logging directly into the resource it self.

Hope this helps.

She's only using the web interface for Zimbra, so the Exchange protocol's not involved - I did see reports of a similar problem when accessing a resource through Exchange. She was the first user set up to admin this resource, so I guess that makes her the original admin? Thanks for your help

This would make her the administrator of the resource. I would contact your service provider. In a similar case, a admin user had to have the ability added to them on the server end.

Hope this helps.
