Thomas,

To clarify, is your user wanting to save all emails locally to their computer?

How to Export all email content:

1. Open the ZWC, Select Preferences.
2. Select, Import/Export.
3. You will now need to Export these items, scroll down to Export.
4. Check the advanced settings box.
5. Make sure all the boxes are checked that you would like to Export.
6. Click on Export in the bottom right hand corner.
7. Choose, Save File.
8. This file should now be added to your Desktop.

If the user wants to save a specific item, they should be able to use the briefcase to upload or download items to their local machine.

Even configuring the Zimbra Desktop has functionality to save items to your local file systems..

Hope this helps,

Hi Spidertech,

the export via settings is to complicated. The user want to save a single mail for a specific project in his filesystem as .eml. Like this is possible with Outlook or Thunderbird.

best regards
