Webmail Conversations & Trash

This is probably a really simlar tickbox I am missing, but is there anyway in the Webmail interface, when you have conversations turned on, to not include items in the trash folder?

Really simple, but I can't see anywhere where you can stop them showing!

You need to modify your default mail search in the Preferences tab to exclude the Trash folder, go to the wiki (link at the top of this page) and search for the word "search" - that has full details of what you need to do.

seems simple to me... however not actually working in practice...

I've now got the following as my Default Mail Search:
in:inbox AND -in:Trash

Is that the correct syntax?

How about using "NOT" instead of "AND"?

Nope sorry....
"in:inbox NOT in:Trash" AND "in:inbox AND -in:Trash"
both don't work

I've also noticed that the option "Include Trash folder in searches" is not ticked either....

Does it definitely use the "Default Mail Search" for displayed the conversations?
