Export from date range issue

Hi, I have an issue with the "Import\Export" function, that is in the web client under "Preferences" tab. My goal is to export mail, addresses, calendar and tasks that were produced between two specific dates. Every different range of dates that I select using "Start on" and "End On", the .tgz file that is produced has always the same size, and includes email sent/received in a period outside the selected one.
Is it a bug, or I didn't understand how to use that function?
I have this issue on ZCS 7.1.2 running on SLES 11.

I tried with ZCS version 6.0.14 and it works. In the GUI there aren't the calendar pop-ups to select the dates, but if I write a query like "after:07/01/2011 before:08/01/2011" in search filter, it produces a .tgz file that includes only the right elements.
If i use the same query in 7.1.2, (and I don't select dates from the two calendars) nothing happens when I click on "Export" button.
