Preferences>Shares: "you can not search for shares from yourself"

problem with 6.0.14 possible bug or missconfiguration:

when going to "preferences > shares" in the zwc and i search for shares to me from an address in the same domain i keep getting the hint: "you can not search for shares from yourself"
if i enter an alias for that account in a different domain that i am searching, and search for the account under the other domain, it shows me all the shares...

is that a known issue? if so, is there a bugID ?
or is it a misconfiguration?

we need that feature quite urgently for new users getting shares that where published to DLs.
