Smile zimbra 7 issue with ms-outlook with new mail server

hi,

We were presently using zcs 5.0.13 and now we are migrating to zcs 7 and i have setup of zimbra 7 with ubuntu 10.04 (new server) and zcs 5.0.13 on Rhel 4.7(old server). As there is no direct migration is possible i have pulled mail accounts from old server to new server by using LDAP but user mails have not been moved so i did it manually by using export and import by web interface. but when i do the same for an outlook user then all the mails get downloaded again so now there are 2 copies of mails by using new server every thing is fine. But how to stop replica of mails in outlook by using new server.

You should upgrade your current server to the current version of Zimbra and when you've done that, follow one of the many article or forum threads on moving your Zimbra install to a new server. If this is a move from 32bit to 64bit then follow the relevant wiki article (or search the forums for further details).

That's why you read the Release Notes and take a backup before you do any upgrades.
