Default web interface: date and time format changeable?

Hi,

the subject basically says it all already. I am in Europe and want to have the Zimbra web mailer display time and date in european formats. I can not find any options for this though.

Note that I am just a user and have no access to any admin interfaces.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks Klug, but I can not install something to the server, I am not the Admin. But this probably also means a user can not configure this himself.

I hope users get the choice one day.

On a side note: I also noticed Zimbra does not make any difference in international phone numbers. When clicking a phone number in the address book to dial it with Skype, Zimbra omits the international prefix.

Hey, there is more than the USA out there....

Get your admin to do it.

Zimbra automagically choose the WebUI language from your browser's default language.

It's your admin's job to add (and maintain) the translations.

Same "issue" : the Skype Zimlet is designed from/for the US.

Agreed.
That's why we (mainly Carlos) work on the french translation and consider translation is not just the language files but also the whole zimlets stuff...

Default UK Date Format

Hi,

I'm having problems with the date format too. In the message preview window, if a date is displayed, i.e. 20/12/2006 (which is intended to be 20th December 2006) hovering over it shows "Saturday August 12, 2006". How do I get this to pop up the UK date ?

TVM

Mike
