Default [SOLVED] E-Mails aren't sent

Hello,

If I want to send E-Mails they weren't sent and I don't get an error message.
The Mail-Queue says "Postponed (5)" (hope this is translated correctly. My inetrface is in german) but doesn't list anything.
I tried it with the local E-Mailaddress and external E-Mailaddresses.

Has anyone an idea how t ofind out what the problem is an how to fix it?

Regards,
Marc

You need to look in the log files and see what error messages you find.

Ok, thanks.
Looked for the right Log at the wrong location.
I found an Entry:

Quote:
Jun 21 06:56:14 lisa postfix/smtp[20514]: 161452B0110: to=<XXXX@XXXXX.XX>, relay=none, delay=2152, delays=2152/0.04/0/0, dsn=4.3.5, status=deferred (mail for lisa.my-serv.eu loops back to myself)
The Target Mail address is valid.
lisa.my-serv.eu is my Zimbra Server.

I entered the URL of the Zimbra Server as Relay Server, because otherwise he tried to send E-Mails on the Mailserver from an external account which failed because of relay access denied. (addresses like spam@lisa.my-serv.eu doesn't exist on the external server.)

What you've done in the highlighted text is incorrect, you need to reverse that change. If you're behind a NAT oruter (or firewall) you need to set-up a Split DNS - have you done that and if not then you must.

Mhh ok. Set it back to the default (Empty).
If I get banned I'm writing with a log from the other server.
It was two times after installing Zimbra where I marked all spam as spam.
It tried to send the mails over an externam server who sais relay access denied and banned me because of too many failure trys.
