Default [SOLVED] Right click in Firefox 5 brings 2 menus

We're using ZCS 7.1.1. Right click in ZWC in Firefox 5 (beta 3) brings 2 menus at the same time: web menu and Zimbra menu. Zimbra menu is backwards and it can't be used.
The same happens with Firefox extensions disabled. The same ZWC previews fine with Firefox 4.0.1. I can't say if it's a general problem.

Have a look at preferences -> tab content -> checkbox enable javascript. Of course this should be checked :-). Now check in the advanced menu that you also allowed "disable or replace context menus".

Cheers

Thank you.
In Windows, it's in Firefox in Tools-Options-Content-JavaScript-Advanced.
I'm not sure how it worked before, an upgrade from v4 to v5 beta must have changed it.

Unhappy Not yet solved

Hi!

I'm afraid it's not solved yet. With Zimbra 7.1.1 Open Edition and Firefox 5, neither context menus shows with "disable or replace context menus" allowed. If this option is unmarked, only Firefox context menu shows up.

I have tried with both Ajax and HTML interfaces in Windows XP and 7.

This behavior exists since Zimbra 4.3 with Firefox 3 and was never fixed - at least for my installation.

It's your local problem. Try with IE or Opera to see if it works, and with Portable Firefox. Check if you have some Javascript blocker. You can also create a new profile in Firefox.

I'm afraid it's not my local problem either. All Firefox versions, several computers, configured or not as stated in previous posts in this topic, all show the same behavior.

I don't see the point about testing with IE or Opera, since it's not the topic of the discussion.

The point of testing with another browser is to narrow down the source of the problem, do try and help.

Zimbra context menus seem to work fine with IE. Will check with Chrome this night.

I also tried with a stripped (no addons) version of Firefox but context menu still refuses to show.

There is obviously an incompatibility with Firefox. The point is: is there any way to solve it, maybe a hidden Firefox configuration to change?

Thanks!

I'm afraid there's nothing 'obvious' in this world.

There's no fix until the problem is found. FWIW, I have no such problem using FF5 on multiple linux versions and most versions of Windows. Are you using any particular language setting for the Zimbra interface and/or your browser or operating system? If they are non-English can you change the settings to English and see if that makes a difference. Have you also tried with a new clean user profile?
