thanks. ill try that. however, i am still trying to get the darn thing to boot up.
im doing a recue with fedora core 3, but i dunno how successful that will be.


i tried adding ide=nodma to the /boot/grub/grub.conf file, but it didn't seem to do anything. i may have put it in the wrong spot

should i try reinstalling fedora? would that mess up the zimbra install?

You'd have to reinstall Zimbra after. Of course you'd lose any mail or users in there.
