Default Re: Additional Font Choices (Bugzilla ID 6463 - WONTFIX)

An enhancement request that I filed in Bugzilla (ID 6463) to add additinonal font choices to the web client when composing is now closed with a Resolution of WONTFIX.

Is there anyway for the administrator to increase the font choices without resorting to changing the source code and recompiling?

Thanks

Nope. You must recompile. The problem with adding more fonts is that some platforms especially Linux may not work with all fonts. It was closed since we don't feel it's a general purpose feature.

Though I believe the choice of more than four fonts would be nice, it's not worth the trouble of maintaining my own source code tree.

I can't really argue with Zimbra's decision though; afterall, no one voted for the enhancement.

Is the code for this isolated in a place that is fairly easy to modify?

Does zimbra support plugging in other rich text editors (yahoo, tinymce, etc)?

Thanx,
LES
