Wrong rendering of Link in E-Mails?

Hi,

when a user sends a link to a network share, e. g.
\\server\share\projejts\4374\

The recipient sees the link, Zimbra makes a hyperlink out of it and renders it to
file:////server/share/projejts/4374/

but when I want to past this link in mozilla firefox, an additional / is needed:

this works in Firefox
file://///server/share/projejts/4374/

but this doesn't
file:////server/share/projejts/4374/

Is Zimbra doing someting wrong here?
