Cant erase old email addresses that appear automatically

I am trying to delete old email addresses that appear automatically when i write the first letter of a new email address. How can I get rid of the old addresses?

I too have this problem and the Trash is empty. I suspect it is because saved messages contain the address that we don't want suggested. When we compose a new message the "Forget" bubble does not appear next to it.

They probably reside in the Email Contacts address book You can delete the entire address book via the HTML web client.

Hi again.
The email addresses suggested are not saved anywhere. Definitely they are not in the address book and not even in the trash.
Anyone knows how to stop having this automatic suggestion of email addresses (especially when some are wrong !!) ?

I have read about a "Bug 2412" which some mention as the problem that causes this. Anyone knows how to fix it????

Removing Incorrect Email Addresses from Zimbra’s Memory

Have you ever been frustrated by an incorrect email address that came up via the auto-fill feature in Zimbra? Below are step-by-step instructions on how to remove incorrect email addresses from Zimbra’s memory.

Login to Zimbra.
Click the Address Book tab across the top.
On the left hand side, select Emailed Contacts.
Click the first letter of the email address on the alphabet on top right to locate the incorrect email address.
Check the box next to the incorrect email address.
Click the delete button across the top.
