Default How to get visual notification of calendar events

Hello,

I recently started using the Zimbra web client. I use it for both email and for scheduling of meetings and events via the calendar.

In general I like it, but one problem is that I constantly miss scheduled meetings, because there is no visual or audible notification that a scheduled event has been triggered.

Is it possible to have notification of calendar events, such as a pop-up alert on the screen?

Many thanks,
Paul

Hi,
If you use zimbra web client, why have you post your comment in zimbra desktop client forum?

However, to have notification of your appointments, go in 'Preferences' tab->'Calendar' and choose the time of reminder you like. Maybe, in this moment, you have set it to 'never'.

Regards

Thanks for the reply gvillari.

There is is no separate sub-forum for the Zimbra web client. The available forums are:
- General
- Collaboration Suite
- Desktop
- Other

In any case, under Preferences->Calendar, the only options are:

- General
* Initial Calendar View
* First day of the week
- Day/Week view
* View starts at
* View stops at
- Creating Appointments
* Show timezone list in appointment view

Nothing about pop-ups / sounds / notifications / advance notice of meetings, etc, that are available with Outlook.
