| | | Calendar appointment Reminder Hello,
I noticed the following, I don't know if it's a bug in the new version 4.x.x of a feature that has been disabled:
I had zimbra 3.1.4 working, calendar was working ok with reminder working well too. Since I upgraded to 4.x.x (I've now 4.0.2, but it was happening in 4.0.1 too), when a user logins to the webui the appointment reminder that was usual to pop up warning when some calendar event overdues or is coming, simply is gone. It only shows up if the user goes to the calendar and click on "refresh". After refresh it works well until the user logout. Can I do something to try fix this? Looks like something missing on user login that tells to make calendar refresh.. It happens on all users I have.
Thanks. |

| | I don't know that it's broken. Can you check the time on your server and make sure it's set ok. You can also try clearing the browser cache. Make sure that the setting is still valid. in your user options. You can also check that the value is still set by running 'zmprov ga xyz@yourdomain.com.com | grep -i reminder' as the zimbra user (obviously put the correct email address of the user in there). Is this only happening for one user? Is it FF or IE? If it'sFF are there any extensions installed that may be causing problems?

| | | Hi Bill,
I checked the server time, it's ok. Tested in both Firefox and "ie", the issue happens in both. zmprov ga 'someuser@mydomain | grep -i reminder' returns the warning time "zimbraPrefCalendarApptReminderWarningTime: 30". The pop up warning appointment reminder that should appear in users login, if they have overduing or coming events, only appears when a refresh is made in calendar. This happens to _all_ users, even if I create a new one. This is really strange.. One thing that happened on the upgrade from 3.1.4 to 4.0.0 was that the default zimlets did not install properly, I had to install them manually. Other thing, I had to create a new self-signed certificate like show in http://wiki.zimbra.com/index.php?tit...certificate%29
to solve a problem with the new Documents feature. I don't see how this can be connected with the calendar issue.. I've been looking some log files but did not find nothing unusual when a user login..
Thank you |

| | | Hey,
Obviously I made a full backup As I told yesterday, today I've done another upgrade, this time from 3.1.2 to 4.0.2. The issue happened too.. Only clicking on refresh in calendar shows the upcoming or overdue event that should be shown when the user logins.... This is a bug certainly.. I don't see no one complain in forum about this, maybe be this is a debian based bug?? I only use debian systems.. Of course, I restored the backup, somebody would kill me monday if they checked they would have no more automatic alerts when login to zimbra webui... |

| | OK, then it's bugzilla time I'm afraid - fill out a bug report with all the details you can.
