Which is an approximate number of users Zimbra can support? Is it able to support a few thousands, given the suitable hardware?

Is there any way to define group policies apart from the Class of Service (COS)? In our organization, a user can belong to different groups, and we need to assign privileges based on it.

What does the CoS not do that you want? Would subdomaining help?

We already have deployments with 7 figure mailbox counts. So it's just a matter of sizing for your user's capacity and usage needs.
