Default Only display subject of the message on ZWC!

Dear experts,
On ZWC, when you receive the messages, you can see the subject and the content of the message. My users only want to see the subject of the message and when they click to the message, it will display the content of message (as Microsoft Outlook). Are there any options to do this?

Thanks for your regards,

hi zibra, just a wild guess .. have you tried moving the reading pane to right from 'View' option? not sure if it suits your requirement.

Sorry zibra. I am not sure if this is possible .. sounds like a hard one to me. Zimbra's got its own style I guess

I totally agree with your users. I've just installed Zimbra and straight away the most annoying thing is that the "subject" header also contains the starting text of the email.
Surely there must be some way of customizing this? Who ever thought it would be a good idea to pollute the subject field with information from somewhere else??
I've only started playing with this and already this "feature" has given me the feeling that this isn't going to be the elusive outlook replacement email client that I'm looking for :-(

Ooops, sorry - I've realised how to do this now. The way preferences works is a bit weird but fine now that I see how it works.

Well, there is a checkbox option in your Preferences --> Mail under Displaying Messages that says "Display snippets of messages in email list:"

have you tried unchecking that?
