Default Can't display images

Whenever I receive an html email, I have a completely empty email with the top bar that says "External images are not displayed. Display Images". When I click on display images nothing happens. Whether it's the preview pane or not the images (or text) will not load.

If I hit reply to that message it will show the text in my quoted reply. Is anyone else having this issue?

Not specifically, but we had some minor issues with buttons overlapping in Firefox 1.5.0.5. Upgrade to 1.5.0.7 fixed it. Earlier version of ZCS had horrible issues with Firefox 1.0.x, so I would upgrade Firefox and try again.

I upgraded to 1.5.0.7 last night and still can't display images. I'm wondering if it's just me at this point since no one else seems to have this issue.

Does this only happen in the web ui? Can you see these html messages in any other cleint? Is it all html messages that you can't see or only some? Are the messages only from one particular source?

This only occurs in the Web UI, I can see them via evolution. Also I just tried the web UI using IE 6 and have the same issues.

I'm thinking at this point it's probably a server issue due to the fact that I'm running it on Ubuntu Dapper 6.06.1 and that is not a supported OS.

Edit: This happens with all HTML messages that have inline images

If possible, you could post the original message headers as an attachment to this thread (or create a new bug in bugzilla) and we can try repro'ing it. At the least we can rule out whether it really is a client issue or not.

To get the original message headers, right click on the message (i.e. via conversation view) and choose "Show Original".

Thanks for your help on this!

loupy,

The message headers you attached has no content (no text/html mime part) to even trigger the bug you are seeing. Are you sure you attached the right one?

I only attached the headers and not the entire message - would you like me to attach the entire show original output?

Yes, without the HTML part (which contains the embedded images), we cannot repro what you are seeing (so make sure the embedded images also is included).
