Default New messages alerts interrupts typing

I am not sure if it's just me or others, however evertime a new mail or instant messages hits my mailbox, my ZWC stops taking input, even other tabs on the browsers stops taking input at times. All I have to do is click on another text area and come back.

Is this normal or is it a standard behaviour that cannot be changed?

Regards,

Choksi

Default Yahoo Browser Plus! notification does the same thing

Hi -

I wanted to add on to this post that if you have the Yahoo Browser plus! add on installed for taskbar notifications, then it also takes the focus away from what you are working on and you have to select your task again to continue working on it. It looks like it changes the focus to Zimbra main screen because if I am in the middle of typing an email when the notification pops up, and I don't notice it, then my continued typing will open all kinds of different tasks in Zimbra (hotkeys I am guessing).

This makes the Yahoo Browser plus notification unusable.

I am trying out some of the other task bar and pop up notifications suggested on this forum, haven't found a favorite yet.
