Default Sorting in webmail client

Is there some way I'm not seeing to sort in email folders based on the From/To field? You can sort based on the date but it doesn't look like any other column is sortable. I just deployed Zimbra Open Source edition 4.0 to our 15 person office this morning and I'm getting called out on that.

Default Conversation vs. message view

You can always sort on Date and Subject. In message-list view, you can also sort on From.

(It doesn't make much sense to sort on From in conversation list view -- which one would you use?)

Customer asked me how to sort messages in Sent folder according to To column; i note that tooltip on To shows "Sort by From" so i can argue that no To sorting is available, but before answering: "No, you can't do that" i would be sure to haven't missed anything
TIA

You can proceed with giving your "can't do that" answer. See bug 6830, which is still open, but dates back to early 2006 and version 3.0 of Zimbra. Basically steer the person to using searches.
