Default Problem with IE 7 for the Zimbra 4.0.1 network edition

Hi

I think by this time some on might have crossed the problem of using IE 7 in Zimbra 4.0.1 network edition.

My problem is I couldn't open my email account from IE 7 all the times. I tried both with IE (No Add-ons) as well as the normal one.

I prefer not to use IE (No Add-ons)

But even for the normal one, I get errors and the page could not go further.

I have found some where that clearing cache of the web browser would solve the problem.

But I do not want to do that. Is there any other alternative?

Many Thanks

Why not? Try it and see if it helps.

In the IE 7 version, there is nothing particulary Cache to clear. I can clear everything. If you have tried it, you can see how it looks like.

But as an administrator, my client do not want to clear their cache or their history or what so ever you see there.

Thats why even though I know one of the solution, I donot want to follow it for now and I need an alternative one.

Thanks

Nobody is asking your users to clear their history, just the cache - they won't lose anything by doing that. I guess that for the moment this won't be a high priority as IE7 is still in beta but as you're a NE user you could always raise a report with Zimbra support.

I have the same problem. It gives the errors in the jpgs below from time to time. Only cleaning the cache helps. I am using the Zimbra 4 NW edition too. I can't reproduce the error easily - it just happens after some time.
