Alias Vs Personas

Hello,
probably a newbie question; we are just migrating from Microsoft exchange to ZCS 6.0 with also a new domain in .com. We have an inbox (import@xxx.com) that multiple people are allowed to view and reply on and I am not sure how to set it up between the Aliases and Personas preferences on the various accounts we have. Also, do we need to create a separate account for import@xxx.com or will it be used as an alias/personas?

An alias is the additional email address for a given mail account and is used to receive mail at that alias. A persona is the email address (the 'from' and/or 'reply to') used to reply to email and may, or may not, be an alias of the mail account they're replying from.

thx Phoenix, so in my case seems that I need to set personas. In that case, in the admin console, do I need to set up a new account for the managed inbox (import@xxx.com)? sorry, brand new to this.

Yes to both of those questions based on your earlier description. Have a search around the forums for details on how others have set-up shared mailboxes and the use of persona, you can always post again if you have further questions.
