Cool Place sent emails in the current folder instead of Sent

Hi,

I'd like zimbra to behave like a newsreader: when I send mail it is like starting new thread - I don't don't want it to go to Sent - I want it to be placed in current folder.
Very often I send a request to a group. If there is no reply, I often forget the point.

I can bypass it by cc'ing myslef but this is an extra effort and yet another thing to rememeber. Moreover, Zimbra shows me then my mail twice (one in the Inbox, second in Sent)

Is it possible to get the desired behaviour in Zimbra?

Best Regards,
Rafal

Welcome to the forums,

Vote for:
Bug 33035 - Add "Save reply in same folder as original message" option to sent messages
Bug 32156 - re-institute multiple zimbraPrefSentMailFolders

Seems to be the second request for this in a week Store answer in the same folder

In version 7.0 (coming soon) you would have the option of specifying filters for sent messages, and for your specific requirement you could simply add one filter that files the sent message into Inbox instead of the Sent folder. See https://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=10778.
