Default Filters not working

Hi there,

I'm trying to filter out some mails. But when I fill in :
"from" "matches wildcard condition" "django*" : "tag with" "django"
And click on run filter, it doesn't filter out any mails (even though I have certain mails in my inbox) .

Does anyone have a clue to get my filters working?

Thanks in advance!

By the way, I have zimbra version 6.0.8 running on a 32 bit debian 5 install.

I have several users in our company with this same issue. I have reproduced it myself. Filters work fine for new incoming messages, but the "run filter" feature in the web interface on Zimbra Suite 6.0.7 (hosted by 01.com) does not filter existing messages that are already in the inbox. Any advise/resolution/work around to this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I created the following Rule, see if this is what you have:

If ALL of the following are met, Subject/ From contain ( Subject= Test/ From = Email address of sener).

Perform the followig > Move to folder > Test folder

Unselect Do not process other filters.

What i did was send some test messages from diffrent email address with the same subject and created 2 rules for testing. The rule moved all messages to their respected folders.

Let me know if the above rule is what oyu are using or update me on how it is set.

best Regards,
