Calendar stuck in 24 hour time format

My coworker's calendar is stuck displaying time in a 24 hour format, but there doesn't seem setting to change this. She is the only one out of 40 users with this problem. We have useless developer support on campus, is this something that the user can change?

is her language set to English (United States) ? If it's set to English (UK) it will display in the 24 hour format.

It was set to english US, but we set it to UK and then changed it back to US and it fixed the problem. All the rumors of the issue being server side were wrong, hooray!
