Default Apple Mail can't accept invitation

Hi,
i got an e-mail (which was send from Apple Mail)

> xxx has invited you to the iCal event: Test, scheduled for June 21, 2010 at 4:00 AM
> (Central European Time). To accept or decline this invitation, click the link below.

I've added this event to calendar by clicking 'Add to calendar', but the problem is that link to accept/decline invitation doesn't show in email body. The standard zimbra buttons Accept/Tentative/Decline doesn't show either...Can anyone tell me why I can't accept the invitation? I've tested sending invitations between Google Calendar and Zimbra and it seemed to work fine...Thanks in advance for any help.

Best regards,

You've posted this in the Zimbra Desktop forums so which version of Zimbra Desktop are you using?

I haven't seen this problem, and we use a mix of Apple Mail, ZWC, and Outlook. What version of Mail is the other person using? Maybe you can post the header or the complete MIME of the invitation.

Is the Apple Mail user on your Zimbra system?

Depending on the version of Apple Mail/iCal and the backend they're using (possibly none), it may not be Mail/iCal per se that's creating the invite.

Also, if iCal is being used in isolation from a CalDAV server, it may compose invitations differently.

So, more details would really be required to get to the bottom of this. If you get another invite, please be sure to right-click the email and do "show original". Then save that somewhere and post it here.

Thx, for reply. The user is isolated from Zimbra system.
Ok, I'll try to get a new invitation and then post it here as original message.
