That isn't exactly much information about what exactly your problem is.

How about which Zimbra product you're using, Zimbra Desktop or Zimbra Collaboration Suite? Which version of ZCS or ZD are you using? What do you mean by 'you used to be able to forward to everyone' - what changed, when & why? If you're using ZCS have you contacted your mail administrator about the problem?

I used to go to my address book and click on the people I wanted to forward a message to and it would work for me but since zimbra took over lycos mail and changed whatever they changed, I haven't been able to do what I used to do. I wont go into any more details. I'll just get another email provider.

I think you're somewhat confused here. ZImbra has not 'taken over Lycos', ZImbra is a software supplier and Lycos have decided to use Zimbra software. If you have problems then you should contact Lycos and raise the problem with them, it's nothing to do with Zimbra.

That's a rather narrow attitude when someone is trying to help you.

That's your choice.

What would help this user best is just create a Distribution List. You will need to create the DL within the Admin Console.

If your interested i am sure this knowledge is commonly used.

You're right, a distribution list is probably what would help. The problem is he's using a hosted mail service (he's an end user) at Lycos and doesn't have access to the Admin UI.

A group in the addressbook would work better, as it doesn't require any admin access.

Alternatively, using auto-complete and just adding addresses to the TO:/CC: fields works well.

Fcash is correct.

You can set up a contact group and use the group to send template, newsletters, etc. to each member within the group.

For end user this is almost considered a distribution list.

Thanks again
