Default IMAP client shows Contacts Folder

Hello Everyone,

My iPhone is configured to connect to Zimbra 6.0.6.1 via IMAPS. Everything works fine. However, I can see the Contacts and Emailed Contacts folder. How do I make it so that these folders are not visible? Thank you.

Peter

How do you unsubscribe to one IMAP folder in an iPhone?

I'm afraid I don't use the iPhone but for IMAP clients there's usually an option to Subscribe/Unsubscribe to (specific) folders, isn't there that option in it's configuration (Advanced/Mailbox options)?

I checked. I don't see an option that allows me to subscribe or unsubscribe to any particular IMAP folder.

It may not be called subscribe/unsubscribe (knowing Apple) but there is most likely a method of removing a folder from the list.

I don't think there is.

This is a sore point for me. Rather than repeat my rants, have a look at Bug 6418 - IMAP: hide or limit access to additional contacts and calendar folders. Please consider voting for it.
