Default [SOLVED] Scrolling in ZWC, and Zimbra Desktop

Using ZWC and zimbra 6.0.2 I have a user that is complaining about the reloading of the email list when he scrolls to the bottom of those currently displayed.
While using the current version of ZDC 1.x I did not have that happing, but now in the ZDC 2.0 beta (build 10414) I'm seeing the same behavior.

3 questions.

1. Is there a setting in Preferences that can revert to the prior behavor where you would choose to advance through your e-mails by clicking on arrows?

2. Can the old behavior be done through thyme choices or edits?

3. if none of the above do I need to RFE this?

Thanks

While there is an open Bug 42568 - user preference to set whether they want to view mail on page by page basis or scroll if they remember how demand scrolling in earlier ZCS 6.0 releases I can understand any anguish, but Conrad has done an excellent job of tweaking automatic loading in 6.0.6 to really be the only method people should ever want and expect out of web-apps by the time he's fully done.

Sometimes its just how they use their mailbox, search is handy, other things of note:
-Can reverse the sort column.
-Really paging without a jump to page is kinda useless anyways: Bug 8712 - Should provide quick page navigation functionality for a mail folder
-We'll add page up/down key shortcuts to on-demand.
-Can select all in a folder by shift-ctrl-a or shift checkbox click.
- We did however just add some preference settings to tweak how many load each time. Bug 45211 - Fine tune virtual paging
-And we're even looking for ways to keep the scroll bar on the right from getting smaller (or too small) and distracting you (page no longer jumps up when some load, they just fill in below) Bug 45023 - Enhanced infinite scroll experience
-Along with how many are loaded we could probably show total in the upper right (like the folder mouseover balloon today) - convo view would probably still display total based on folder contents though to save crunch time.

That bug was hitting us to. It was fixed in 6.0.3:
Bug 42074 – Mail view scrolls to top

As far as I know there isn't a way to disable the auto loading while scrolling and go back to the old paged views.

I guess I need to schedule the 6.0.6 upgrade, before voting on those bugs.

just an fyi: there is a bug in 6.0.6 that I just read about that breaks ZD1 if your account is using the default COS:

Bug 46127 – ZD1.0 can't sync versions after ZCS 6.0.6 (if default COS or fresh ZCS)
zimbraPrefForwardIncludeOriginalText attribute mismatch

Thanks for the heads up. I only have 2 ZDC users using 2.0 beta, and I'm one of them so I should be ok with that bug.
