Default copy messages?

I am a new user, sorry if this question has been raised before.

Can you copy messages in Zimbra to another folder as you can in Thunderbird?

Yes you can do it by using a filter or drag'n'drop but what exactly are you trying to do?

Is this Zimbra Desktop or the Web UI?

Sometimes I want to file a message in more than one folder in the same email account.

You can hold down the left <SHIFT> key while D'n'D to another folder; that will copy instead of move.

Although having the same message in multiple folders should be handled efficiently by Zimbra (so that they don't take up more room than having the message in one folder) you could instead consider using tags. Just an idea.

Hello,
answer from uxbod is very helpful,
although it could be nice if the copy command will be "visible" in the right click menu of web interface and/or zimbra desktop.

Many thanks uxbod,
Pan.

Why shift? The "standard" for copy via dnd is CTRL+Drag. Shift+Drag is "move".
