Alphabetize Briefcase/Calendar Items

Is there a way to alphabetize the Briefcase and/or Calendar items. It would be so much easier if the items we alphabetical but we can't figure out how to do it. We have 28 schools with various functions on any given day, if they could all be listed under the schools name it would save us a large amount of time in checking and re-checking listings.
