Zimbra Desktop Sync issues

I am getting a notification that Zimbra Desktop(latest) cant connect with remote server. Debug message: parse error: could not parse feed

I have hosting accounts with homestead.com, hmail/zimbra collaboration suite. I am desperate to work out all of the kinks in syncs to have one place for email calendar etc. I currently use apple mobile me. It gets complicated because I am running mac osx 10.6.2 with vm fusion virtual machine (vista) i have to use to access some of my companies software. I cant seem to get calendars sycnced, contacts etc.
