Problem with aliases in iCal

Hi all,

I have an e-mailaccount, let's call it example@domain1.com. Attached to that e-mailaccount I have an alias example@domain2.com. When people send invites to the alias address and I open it in Mail it's not possible to add it to the example@domain1.com calendar. Is there a trick or workaround for this problem?

I'm not sure it will solve your problem but due to issues with aliases and CalDAV clients (esp. iCal), I've stripped out most of the aliases on my system and replaced them with single-account distribution lists.
