Default Spell checker ?????????

Hello again all I ditched the fedora 4 core install as i do not really like fedora anyhow so there version makes little differance to me. I did manage to get the install to work on fedora 3 but the filter rules seem to do nothing what is up with that?

here are some of the things i that i would love to see added

1 . Spell checking an absolute must is it present? Did i just miss the button or something, or are all you folks just great spellers?

2. Mandatory singnatures so u all your email clients can do some advertise for me and of course zimbra.

3. A welcome message when accounts are created

4. Customizable apperance as i would like to use for my website and it looks as though zimbra has taken over. I mean at least a place to include my domain would be nice.

Cool. Yes Fedora 3 is the support Fedora version right now. We'll get more supported versions out as we have time and as we verify they are working.

1) Yes spell checker is on our list of enhancements (A personal favorite of mine too)

2) This is something we've debated internally for some time. There are no set plans here but if we add this we'll probably have a option to disable it.

3) This could be scripted today with a special welcome script. I'll add an enhancement to have it automatically dropped in.

4)Where would you like to include your domain? Today this could be done but would require some work to write or modify our skin.

Default spell checking

Thats fine i am ok with Fedora for now it was very easy to set up and the defauts seem to make alot of sense unlike some really akward distro's.

I must have spell checking even if there is a way to add it myself??????????? I have been using squirell mail now for some time it has the spelling plugin turned on as my spelling sucks

A global sig would be great you could add a zimbra plug there somewhere too.

A place for logo on the login screen would be great above zimbra would be cool not to steal your thunder just some sharing would be nice also same once inside above the zimbra logo. have u used squirrel mail before??

Ok welcome message is no bigy I could always send all users a common message think i read about that somewhere in the zimbra docs. A shared admin or Important mailbox would be an even better solution.

Also is there a way to make user change there password when they login or after some length of time? but only require this action once ie so u can use a standard password that users have to change to there own.

ps my status window seems to be stuck on no status avliable and the account view mail for other users just takes me to the admin account.

It will be in the next milestone build. You can see proof in the screen shots we posted today:

You'll see a "Spell Check" button on the new appointment editor. Same button now appears in the mail composer.

I use the spellchecker everyday and I am very fond of it (especially since I am a bad speler). Works both in plain text and HTML modes. Also, as the calendar screenshot shows, we have it wired into the new appointment view as well as the mail composition view.
