Default Are there any plans to support write to remote iCAL calendars?

The ability to read an iCal calendar is fantastic. Having the ability to read/write to the remote iCal would be awesome.

Are there any plans for this?

The REST interface has POST support. So you can *write* data that way.

Default ICal

Hello Kevin,
We are a small fire dept. I installed 3.2 Beta open source. We love it. Is there a way to publish a shared calendar as a webpage read only no passwords? We would like the county dispatch center and the duty officer to be able to read the calendar quickly without loggin in. We would also like to open this up to different volunteer fire depts in our area.

Thanks, David

Hi,
You need a web based app that cn do that.
PHP iCal is a great program that is very simple to use.

That's what I use.

rfd, I just posted instructions for exactly that. We needed the same thing and it works perfectly.

FYI: simple, read-only with PHPiCalendar

If you figured out how to install Zimbra you shouldn't have any problem with the phpicalendar code.

cheers.
