Default Gmail

When I send the mail with attachments they are able to see it but when click it it goes to a notebook text verison an will not open. I send mail to other people with no problems. Iuse Zimbra web client advanced edition. Do they need to enable POP OR imap? THANK YOU

Hi KennP,

I'm going to make a number of assumptions here, perhaps you could clarify which ones I have right and which ones I got wrong.

I assume that you are using Zimbra, and I'm going to believe that it's version 6.04 and that you are sending mail using the web client, from a windows pc, using firefox 3.5. ok?

I'll assume that you are sending an email to someone with a gmail address, and that you have included an attachment that is not being blocked by your zimbra server, not blocked by Googles email servers either.

When you say "they cannot open them or download" I think that implies that they can see that there is an attachment there in the first place - in which case, my shot in the dark, wild guess is that the recipient has a firewall in place which is refusing the attachment you have sent.

I could be wrong though, if I am, could you add some details to your question?

Dirk.you are right on all points. The people did have a firewall blocking Zimbra
