Default ZIMBRA saves old ldap passwords

Hi

I have my zimbra connected to an external ldap server.
Everthing is working fine but when i change my ldap password.
I can loggin with both the old and the new ldap password.

How do i sett so that zimbra dont save the old ldap password ??

Is your external LDAP server Microsoft Active Directory?

AD accepts old passwords for one hour by default. Really. It's in the MS KB.

Other servers might behave similarly.

No its an openldap server.
I have tried to reboot the zimbra but it stills has the old password.
And it was 2 weeks now when i changed password.

Are you sure your domain is setup for external authentication (and not with external passwords imported in ZCS when account were created)?

hmmm

I have in the domain set upp for external ldap server.
And the new password is working.

How do a be shore that is for auth not saving ?

Yes both now one and old one.

Have test to reboot the zimbra to clear som cache
but it still have the old password remeverd.

zmprov gd yourdomain.com zimbraAuthFallbackToLocal
zmprov gd yourdomain.com zimbraAuthMech
