Alway request a read receipt

Hi, I'm using ZCS community 6.0.3.

Is there an options to always enable "Request Read Receipt"

Users are asking for this feature so they don't have to manually request it every time they're composing a new mail.

It should be in preferences, no?

There's also an RFE to let the administrator force the preference for a group of users (by COS): Bug 38909 – Allow Administrators to set default user read-receipt preference and don't allow users to change it.

In preferences, Mail section, I only find this option:

Read Receipt:	When I receive a request for a read receipt
 	
		Never send a read receipt
		Always send a read receipt
		Ask me

but I don't find anything about forcing read receipt request.

Hm, http://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=41258 (which is clearly what you want) was marked as a duplicate of that one.

Possibly there was confusion between setting a pref for sending receipts and requesting receipts. I haven't played with GnR in a while but assuming you're right, I'd post a comment in the above bug asking it to be reopened.

Generally when they dupe bugs like that the work from the bug that got duped will be done in the bug it was duped to (probably the case here).
