[SOLVED] Set external account email address as the"From field" of email mes

Hi All,
When creating an external account, I am wondering if it is possible to set the "From field" to the email address of the external account so that the recipient will see the message is from the external account email not from the Zimbra account.

You've posted this in the Zimbra Desktop forum, did you mean to do that? This feature works (on ZCS & ZD) if you go to the user Preferences tab and set a Persona.

Thanks for the reply. Sorry, it was my mistake to post in the wrong Forum.

I played a bit with the Persona setting but still couldn't figure out how I can make the recipient to read my external account email address, a domain hosted with Godaddy, in the "From field." I don't want the recipient to see the mail server domain. Are there any ways I can do this in ZCS.

If you wish to send from a domain that's not on the server then go to the Admin UI and set the 'allow sending from any address'.
