Maximum number of displayed messages

is it possible to increase the number of displayed messages (more than 100)?

That option no longer exists in the current 6.x version you just scroll down the page if you wish to see the rest of the email.

But, by the admin settings I am able to choose between 10, 25, 50 and 100.
Basically it must be possible to change it to 200 (somewhere in a script)

I have a user very upset with how paging down works with this new release, as it is totally unusable:

"You scroll down and then if you already have an email toward the top of the page highlighted you are taken back to the top, so you have to scroll down a bit and then select an email further down, then scroll down more etc etc."

Any suggestions?

To add: the behaviour above seems to happen when the view is set to no reading pane, rather than reading pane right or reading pane bottom.

Can anyone confirm this - if so I'll raise it as a bug (if not already raised).

I can't see how ANYBODY could view this as functional.

I'm delaying ALL client upgrades (6) until something gets fixed with the UI or I'll have all my clients screaming bloody murder...

BTW focus is lost WITH the reading panel active as well, and I also notice that the focus goes to the top after moving messages into other folders, so you have to scroll back down.

Anyone using Google Reader for the past several years will find this behaviour to be quite intuitive.

This was fixed in 6.0.3... Are you still seeing problems with the same thing?

The Web UI isn't broken, the change to scrolling mode is be design. If your users don't like that then show them how powerful the search function is.

It's difficult to comment on that as you don't say which version you have installed. However, as mentioned above, the 'focus' problem was fixed in 6.0.4.
