Default Problem with "does not" filters in 6.0.1

Currently running two different 6.0.1 OSS installs testing with a few users before upgrading out NE install. On both, when attempting to make a filter rule with 'does not match exactly', 'does not contain', 'does not match wildcard condition', upon submitting the filter, and reopening it, the 'does not' is dropped -- drastically changing the working of the rules. 'does not contain' turns into just 'contains'.

I've looked at mailbox.log as this is happening, and all I see is something like the following:

2009-09-25 15:17:23,513 INFO [btpool0-622] [name=testuser@mnu.edu;mid=104;ip=10.212.8.174;ua=Z imbraWebClient - IE7 (Win)/6.0.1_GA_1816.RHEL5_64;] soap - ModifyFilterRulesRequest

I see this in IE, Firefox and Chrome and on both OSS mail servers. Each one was upgraded from 5.0.18 to 6.0.0 to 6.0.1.

Any thoughts? I've not had users report this to me yet, and I can't believe this is a bug in everyone's install or it surely would have been caught by now. Hopefully it's just some setting messed up at my site but I don't know where to look. Thanks!

Default Problem with "does not" filters also in 6.0.2

We are also experiencing this in 6.0.2 (after upgrading from 5.0.12). So I submitted Bug 42149 – Mail filters with "does not" options are not saved correctly

I have the same issue in 6.0.2, on 2 different servers. Any ideas ? What can we do in order to make this work ? I have hundred of clients on both servers which are using filter rules.

Thanks.

As it turns out, the saved filter works, but it doesn't appear correctly when you edit it. If you look at Bug 42149, it will be fixed in the next release.
