ZCS 6.0.1 Problem when clicking on a e-mail address in address book

Hello everyone,

I do have another problem - could you please try if you can reproduce this:

1. Open private address book.
2. Select a contact with an e-mail address.
3. Single-click on the e-mail address.
4. Zimbra opens about 10 compose windows with the e-mail address filled into the TO field.

Completely different behaviour with shared address book:

1. Open shared address book.
2. Select a contact with an e-mail address.
3. Single-click on the e-mail address.
4. Zimbra opens the contact for editing the contact information.


Has anyone encountered anything like this?

I'm seeing this same exact behavior right now too on Release 6.0.1_GA_1816.RHEL5_20090911164519 CentOS5 NETWORK edition.

Not seeing this on my test 6.0.1 (RH5-64 NE)- does the contact have multiple e-mail addresses, or just one?

It happens with both contacts that have only one address and contacts that have multiple. I've tested this on two accounts, both from Firefox Mac. Can check from Windows in a bit.

Actually, I stand corrected- a contact record that I had previously defined before the upgrade to 6.0.1 doesn't do this, but a new contact created in 6.0.1 does do this when clicking on the e-mail address (although I get 2 instead of 10).

Using FF 3.5.3 on Fedora 10.

Well, I just also started noticing that as I kept going through contacts, it was increasing the # of new compose windows that it created. The first time that I tried a contact I got 2, then I tried another and got 3, etc. I started the servers at 6.0, so all of the contacts are "new"

Similar for me. From personal contacts, the first time I clicked on an address it opened 2 Compose tabs. The next time and a different contact, it opened 3. The next time - 4.

Right-click > New Email opens a single Compose tab.

Clicking on the address of a contact in a shared address book brings up the editing window.

Tested in Mozilla Prism & Chrome on Windows.
