Default Browsing LDAP Tree

I'm new to LDAP but impressed with what it does (and how quickly it does it). I would like to browse the zimbra LDAP tree with a secondary program to learn more about how this tree looks / works. (Currently I have Webmin that can do it) I know what the password is (I set that at install time) but what would be the "basedn" and username to access the server? Specifically the default that Zimbra sets up during a regular install.

I use the Softerra LDAP browser:
http://www.ldapadministrator.com/download/index.php

the user dn I auth with is uid=zimbra,cn=admins,cn=zimbra
and I do not specify a base dn. interesting places to bind are the root, cn=zimbra or cn=com (or replace com with the top level domain you have).

Binding to root shows everything
Binding to cn=zimbra shows server stuff
Binding to cn=com shows your users, dl's, etc

Hi,

i know i am posting to an old thread, but i am trying to authenticate against zimbra, which i am able to do but i am unable to see groups or distrobution lists that users are in.
I need a groupmembership query. I was trying to use &(member=uid=$1)(objectClass=groupOfNames)) but that doesn't seem to display anything.

Any ideas?
