I'd like to move 5000 messages from one folder to another. Is there a way to select all the messages in a folder, not just those in the viewing window?
Thanks very much,
Rachel

another workaround is to setup an IMAP account in thunderbird to your zimbra account -- then do what you need to do within the Thunderbird interface.
i can't believe that such a nice piece of software needs workaround like that

Yes, this sucks. There needs to be a way to select all and delete. Deleting mail 25 at a time sucks big!
Or right click and select "Empty Folder" ... Additionally as you would not select the checkbox, next to the flag column, if you hold down SHIFT while clicking on it then the whole folder will be selected.Code:su - zimbra zmmailbox -z -m <user@domain> ef /folder_to_empty
I used to shift-click on the "all" button at the top.
It doesn't work every times but it does most of it.
Yes, shift-click in the "all" checkbox at the top of a message list will most of the time select all messages in the folder. Zimbra will also say that all messages have been selected when it's successful. I've found this to work very well in ZCS 6.0.6.
