How to get tasks to show up in the calendar?

I would love to use the Tasks more, but don't because I don't receive alerts. I understand that there's an alert server planned.

But I use the Calendar so much so that I depend on it.

Is it possible to have tasks show up in the Calendar on their due dates?

Unfortunately, no that functionality isn't provided. You should vote for Bug 27613 - Tasks should be integrated into Calendar app .
