Attaching emails to tasks

Hello,
I've been using Zimbra for about 6 months now and am really enjoying it.
Thanks for all of the work you have put into it!

Here's a feature that I would find invaluable if it were added:
The ability to right click on an email and select, "attach to an existing task" or "attach to a new task"
I do a lot of communication and projects that involve email correspondence, and would like to look at a task and see all of the email correspondence attached to it.
I've tried using tags but the number of tags I would require would make it unwieldy, and I wouldn't want to get rid of tags, because I would still want to potentially go back to them at some point.

Is this feature planned for the new version of Zimbra, or could someone write a Zimlet for this?

The place to add new feature requests would be bugzilla, search first to see if anything already exists and vot an any enhancement you may find (including and you file).

thanks for the info.
this seems to be the bug I'm referring to: Bug 19081 – right click option to email for 'add appt' or 'add task'
I've added a comment and voted for it.

You can drag your emails to the minical (bottom left) on the day you want and when you drop it, voilà, new appointment created...

If you do the drag'n'drop while using the shift key on your keyboard, you create a new task.

I found that out yesterday for the first time when I was search through the bugs.
It will truly be helpful for creating new tasks, but I usually have multiple emails related to a task, so I would still really appreciate an enhancement that I described in the bug comment.
