Possible to turn off calendar fisheye view?

Hi,

I am currently playing around with the 6.0 Beta open source. I noticed the new feature of fisheye under calendar month view. Is it possible to turn off this feature? I didn't see anything under settings or preferences.

I really don't understand the point of fisheye view. When it distorts your month calendar to blow up your day view all of your other appointments for the month disappear. So where's the benefit to fisheye view vs just opening your day view?

Surely when it zooms out you can then select another day with appointments. I have not tried yet myself but I bet it will make checking easier without switching views.

the problem with month view (without fisheye) is that due to lack of screen real estate common calendar functionality isn't feasible (can't display appt details, can't drag to select a block of time to create an appt, etc). Fish eye fixes these types of problems. Like UXBOD says, you can zoom out and get the entire month view again.

Yes, I suppose it saves you a couple of clicks over switching to day view manually.

The problem with it right now (at least as implemented on ZD) is that it doesn't offer much information on any other day of the month in that mode. It does highlight dates but it would be better if it would popup schedule information for dates the way the minical does.
