Default {request?} Search calendar to a list

I found one thing my users do not like about Zimbra. I have this deployed in a drug treatment site and they use the calendar for client appointments using the web interface. There are many times that they need to look back to see all of a clients appointments. The search works fine for their needs but they have to go month by month.
They would live to see an option to view all results in a list form like Outlook used to do. I would not think this would be too hard to add to a future update.

Have a look through bugzilla and see if any request has been filed, vote on anything you find. If there isn't any RFE then file one and vote on it, that way it will get to the attention of the developers.

They've implemented a calendar list view in 6.0. It appears to include viewing search results in list form.

I've been testing w/ 6.0GA and although the list view is there, search results are still tricky to navigate since the search result is limited to 2 weeks and there isn't an item counter or visual data in the mini calendar to suggest how many 2 week intervals you need to scroll through.

Using the advanced search against the calendar also doesn't appear to give reliable results (such as using the before/after date search criteria). There are still a number of open bugs related to calendar search and they are in various forms of assigned/unconfirmed statuses. Does another bug need to be filed for this?

I really don't understand the decision to arbitrarily limit the list to two weeks. It's not really intuitive for the user that "list" means "two week list".

It seems to me that you should have the option to view your calendar in either calendar view or list view and the time period should be a separate option - day, week, work week, month, year, etc.

Hi, i'm new in the forum but this is one of the reason why i'm writing here today.
I agree 100% with NRC observations
I add also this great lack:
for now, also in 6 ver FOSS, it is not possible to do a simple search to find in any way an appointment fixed in 2015 (for istance) or all the appointment with Mr Brown (for istance) from Zimbra installation: list view result search is a must
thanks in advance for help, tomorrow i'll try subscribe/add my requests to bugzilla
bye Luca

That's exactly what our users expect to see under the title "list view"

I hope, the Zimbra developers will change this soon. But it seems, that some request will last for ever ...

Bug 19338 is a two year old rfe and the two-weeks view is not what it was meanted to be the resolution

It looks like Bug 32898 is where we need to direct our votes to get this corrected.

Bug 32898 – Add date range selector to calendar list view.

This seems to be a drawback of Zimba's development model. Often when an RFE finally gets attention, the first cut doesn't really meet user expectations. Multiple RFEs are required to develop a feature to the point where user expectations are met.
