Hi
I talk about "Zimbra Collaboration Suite "
Thanks
The answer to your question is yes you can download email from an external server and store them in your Zimbra account. Is that what you're trying to do? Do you have Zimbra currently installed? If you do the settings are on the user preferences tab under Accounts then Add External Account.

Hi
I have 40 account email in my actual provider external , i like maintain these accounts and to store the emails in the ZCM... i like that ZCM take the emails from my actual Pop server and save the emails in the ZCM, i can to do that?
Thanks
I've also tried to setup Zimbra to use an external email provider like described above. The only provider that works for me is gmail.com but other providers like GMX.net gives me errors with Zimbra 6.0beta2 when i do a connection test.
GMX.net Pop3 shows me:
Our other e-mail provider gives me:leaving messages on server requires support for UIDL
These e-mail providers works well with Zimbra Desktop, is this a bug in ZCS beta?"SSL peer shut down incorrectly"
BTW: What is the difference between the way described above to get e-mails from an external provider and using fetchmail? Does the accounts configured in the preferences tab of the users also go through Amavis/ClamAV?
Hi Phoenix, i've ZCM installed and in the administration console i have the account preferences, but i don't find the option Add external account..
Does anybody had an idea why i get the errors posted above?
I still have no luck to get my ISP Accounts to work with zimbra.
